Mozilla's browser has privacy in mind with its Enhanced Tracking Protection and Private Browsing mode. Is there a better alternative?Īpart from Safari, another alternative browser that can match Chrome is Firefox. The Chrome app for iPhone is compatible with iOS 11.0 or better. This helps you go back to sites you visited on your computer or access accounts without having to remember your password. Chrome will have your browser history, saved passwords, and bookmarks available on all devices that have the software installed. Chrome cannot be the default browser (Apples rules) but you can kind of get. The browser app will sync all of your data across your iPhone, Mac, Android phones, and Window computer. For example, the Google Drive App, along with its the apps for Docs. This helps you avoid typing in your search query. YouTube links will also open to the iPhone app instead of the browser only.Ĭhrome's voice search is more accurate than Safari. If you have a link in Gmail message, it will open in Chrome instead of Safari. Since Chrome is a part of Google, the app works well with Gmail, YouTube, and other software from the company. This can slow down your iPhone and take up most of your battery. Chrome will take up most of your phone's CPU performance. On the other hand, the performance can be a problem for your device's CPU. You can expect most websites to load faster on Chrome than on your iPhone's default browser. The software has the same performance as its Windows and Android version, which is much better than Apple's Safari browser. The lastIndexOf() starts searching the array from the end and stops at the beginning of the array. As the name suggests, it returns the position of the last occurrence of the items in an array. JavaScript provides us an alternate array method called lastIndexOf(). Note that if the item is present more than once, the indexOf() method returns the position of the first occurrence. But you can pass in a position as a second argument to skip the starting elements to be included in the search: fruits. const fruits = īy default, the indexOf() method starts searching the given item from the beginning of the array and stops at the end of the array. This method searches the array for the given value and returns its index. The simplest and fastest way to check if an item is present in an array is by using the Array.indexOf() method. The includes() method doesn't work in IE and is only available in modern browsers. includes ( 29n ) // true // Symbolīoth includes() and indexOf() behave differently with NaN ("Not-a-Number") property: const arr = // ✅ includes ( undefined ) // true // boolean includes ( '□', 4 ) // trueīeside strings, the includes() method also works great with other primitive types: const symbol = Symbol ( '□' ) const types = // strings But you can also pass in a starting index as a second parameter to start the search from a different position: fruits. The includes() method is perfect for finding whether the element exists or not as a simple boolean value: const fruits = īy default, the includes() method searches the entire array. This method returns true if the element exists in the array and false if not. The includes method was added in ES6 to determine whether an array contains a specified value. How To Delete Element From Array In Javascript Just write the name of that protocol in the filter tab and hit enter. Its very easy to apply filter for a particular protocol. Destination IP FilterĪ destination filter can be applied to restrict the packet view in wireshark to only those packets that have destination IP as mentioned in the filter. The filter applied in the example below is: ip.src = 192.168.1.1 4. Source IP FilterĪ source filter can be applied to restrict the packet view in wireshark to only those packets that have source IP as mentioned in the filter. In most of the cases the machine is connected to only one network interface but in case there are multiple, then select the interface on which you want to monitor the traffic.įrom the menu, click on ‘Capture –> Interfaces’, which will display the following screen: 3. Once you have opened the wireshark, you have to first select a particular network interface of your machine. Select an Interface and Start the Capture In this article we will learn how to use Wireshark network protocol analyzer display filter.Īfter downloading the executable, just click on it to install Wireshark. Wireshark is one of the best tool used for this purpose. While debugging a particular problem, sometimes you may have to analyze the protocol traffic going out and coming into your machine. Teams recommends that you use a background with “an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080”. Here is a sample image that can be used for the background.Īlternatively, you can create your own green screen image by opening an image editor and setting the image size to 1920 x 1080. Typically, the green screen color is RGB (8,255,8) or in Hex (#08FF08). Importantly, you will need to do this each time you join a Teams call if you wish to access the NDI streams from Teams within OBS. Teams will notify participants that broadcasting capabilities have been turned on. Click on the ellipsis (three dots More actions button) and select Broadcast over NDI. Next, join a Teams call and enable NDI broadcasting. After the installation is complete, you should see an additional NDI Source in the list of sources that you can add to OBS. For now, note the presence of the option. Install NDI Plugin for OBSĭownload the latest NDI plugin for OBS. Next, run the installer. Enable NDIįor this tutorial, I will be using Microsoft Teams however, other software programs (such as Skype) also have NDI support. First, you need to get Microsoft Teams enabled for your user by an admin. It is important to note that only the person who will be running OBS will need this enabled. Other users on the call interact with Teams as they would in a normal call.Īfter NDI has been enabled for your user, you will need to enable NDI within your Team’s settings. In this blog post, I expand on my previous blog to show adding a virtual green screen and including additional participants with NDI® (Network Device Interface) sources. I am running the Windows Microsoft Teams app version 1.3 (64-bit). In my last blog post, I talked about ways to share your content through OBS using a virtual camera. Crafting the Perfect Stream Through OBS Using Creative BackgroundsĪs exciting as it is to stream or record your content with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), it can be even better with other participants in the video stream which can be done by using a green screen. The original payment model was monthly, but by the end of the year, they had introduced an annual pass and a lifetime pass. In August of 2012, Plex introduced Plex Pass as a way to generate additional development revenue while keeping the core features of Plex free. After continued development and collaboration, Feingold, along with Cayce Ullman and Scott Olechowski founded the Plex company in 2009. It’s been around so long and grown so much that it’s easy to forget Plex was an offshoot of XBMC (Xbox Media Center, now called Kodi) started as a hobby project by Elan Feingold in late 2007. Let’s take a look at the major and minor benefits that come with upgrading. If you’re a fan of Plex, you might have wondered if you really need Plex Pass, the premium upgrade to the popular free home media server platform. You don't need Plex Pass to use Plex Media Server, but it includes significant upgrades like hardware transcoding and user accounts. During the next boot into OS X, the OSXRESERVED partition is removed and put back into the Core Storage container of the OS X partition: It appears that newer Macs have the ability to detect this partition and present it to Windows as if it were EFI installation media (such as a DVD or USB Flash drive). The EFI folder on the OSXRESERVED partition is the same one you would normally find on the EFI partition (normally disk0s1). If you are familiar with EFI booting on OS X, you’ll see a familiar setup. The OSXRESERVED partition has all the installer files, the Boot Camp drivers for Windows, and the EFI files for booting. You’ll also notice that disk2 is the Windows install ISO disk image that the Windows install files are copied from. Partition 4 is now the OSXRESERVED partition, and partition 5 is the BOOTCAMP partition. Partition 1 is the standard EFI partition, partition 2 is the Mac partition, partition 3 is the Recovery partition. It places this partition right after the recovery partition, and before the Boot Camp partition, as shown below. So how is this possible? Where is the Windows installer if there is no installation media? Boot Camp Assistant doesn’t just create a Boot Camp partition, but also creates an additional partition called “OSXRESERVED” that is FAT32 formatted. Just select the ISO and how much space you want from Boot Camp, and then you click Install.Īfter Boot Camp Assistantd completes, OS X restarts to the Windows installer, and you follow the normal Windows installation. Prior to El Capitan, you had to insert a USB Flash Drive and Boot Camp Assistant copied the Windows installer from an ISO disk image to the flash drive, and then downloaded and set up the Windows drivers to the correct location in the installer for the Mac hardware. Notice the ISO image and partitioning are all on a single screen. When you open Boot Camp Assistant on a new Mac that supports Windows 8 or later, you’ll get the new Boot Camp interface. Some very interesting changes in how Windows is installed in Boot Camp on OS X 10.11 “El Capitan”. Posted on Septemby Timothy Perfitt - Uncategorized Updates Apple Boot Camp No Longer Requires USB Flash Drive to Install Windows in El Capitan It excels at high end detail, I'm noticing cues in music that I often find harder to hear (if at all) on lower end DAC's and without any required critical listening on my part to observe. Its also designed to sound great and let me tell you, it does this quite well. Now onto the sound, this DAC/AMP solution is mostly aimed at being portable. The white LED button in the front (power on and off button in reality) is also not overly bright. All in all very minimal and well designed. Solid construction as well, doesn't feel like a small brick of cheap ass plastic. Very sleek and low profile which I personally enjoy. Input data rate : up to 192KS/s (optical), 96KS/s (USB) (tested both and they are 100 percent functional without errors or static popping). It won't run any 600 Ohm monsters but you should really be looking at a beefier solution for those kinds of can's anyway, such as a dedicated headphone amp. Output impedance : 47 ohms RCA, 10-300 ohms headphone impedance (this is excellent for a vast array of growing low impedance cans out there). Power source : USB 5V (meaning bus powered and they do offer an optional AC adapter if you require it)įull-scale output : 2.0V RMS (RCA and Headphone) USB controller : TI1020B (able to process up to 96/24-bit) |
